Medical Director and GP
I was born in Christchurch and attended Christchurch Boys' High School in the early 1980's. After one year at Canterbury University I gained entry to Otago Medical School in Dunedin, graduating in 1991. After many great years travelling and working overseas I returned to Christchurch and worked at Christchurch Hospital in various roles before specialising in General Practice in 1999.
I am now a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of GPs and am proud to be involved in specialist training for GP Registrars and teaching Medical Students from our local Christchurch School of Medicine, some of which is carried out at Moorhouse Medical Centre.
As Medical Director my main interest is continuing to build and improve our Medical Centre and the service we are able to provide to our enrolled population and visitors.
Outside of work I have too many interests to list and not enough time to enjoy them all.....but I always give it a go!
