Dr Clinton Newbury

Doctor

My first job in 1995 was working for Sir Peter Blake and Team New Zealand in their successful America’s Cup challenge as a draftsman and sailor. I then moved to San Diego where I worked on the design of America’s Cup class yachts for Dennis Conner.

In 2004 I moved back to New Zealand to study medicine at the University of Auckland where I graduated in 2009. During my training, I also worked as a volunteer Paramedic with St John. After working as an ENT and Cardiothoracic Registrar in Wellington, I joined the GP training program.

In 2012 I moved to Christchurch and joined Better Health group as an owner and director. My clinical time is spent at Amberley Medical Centre, Linwood Medical Centre and Moorhouse Medical Centre. I have a particular interest in skin cancer, minor surgery, vasectomies and dermoscopy.

I am also a director of GenPro, the General Practice Owners Association of New Zealand.
