Amogh was born in India and graduated from Bangalore Medical College. He has worked in several medical specialities in different hospitals in the UK --Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sheffield  and Wales, before moving to NZ. After working in Invercargill and Christchurch Hospital for many years, he completed the Specialist GP training and is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of GPs.

Amogh is particularly interested in Diabetes, Oncology, Internal & Preventative Medicine but does enjoy all aspects of General Practice.

When not at work, Amogh can be found either chasing or getting chased by his 2 little girls!
