Once you are pregnant, we can help you find a Lead Maternity (LMC). An LMC can be self-employed midwife, hospital employed midwife or private obstetrician. We can work with your LMC during pregnancy and offer care to your entire whanau.

Maternity care is free for women in their first trimester (12 weeks), as well as six weeks post birth. If you have a referral from your LMC you can see your doctor at any stage of your pregnancy as well.

Immunisation

Child immunisation is free.

Immunisation protects you and your child(ren) from serious diseases throughout life. The Ministry of Health supports immunisation. However, it is your choice whether to immunise your child.

The New Zealand National immunisation schedule is a series of immunisation (including boosters) given at specific times between the ages of six weeks to twelve years. To get the best possible protection, have the immunisation on time, every time.

Immunisation is FREE for children under 12 years and can be carried out at our practise. Make an appointment today.
